Goldilocks and her three dreams – Draw.with.Sophie

Why did you pick this picture?

I chose this picture due to its soft, muted, pastel colours that’s gave it a dreamy appearance.

Where did the idea come from?

The idea to create this piece of art came from seeing the pure talent in hair dressing and styling, and desiring to blend it with art. I also wanted to create this piece to form a drawing of realistic hair (which I had never previously done)

What does this art mean to you?

The meaning behind the name of this piece (Goldilocks and her three dreams) is to show people of any race, ethnic background, social status etc. That dreams are always valid. Mine of which are to; create, inspire, and endeavour to be the best version of the only person I know to be.

What can you tell us about yourself?

Hi, I’m Sophie and I am a young artist (aged 13) I love to draw semi-realistic pieces. From portraits, to food drawings I attempt to get varied references. Meaning I can get a wider range of followers to come along with me on my ‘artist’ journey, and get inspired.

What more can you tell us about your art?

I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember, yet I only started taking it seriously last year. I am hoping that in the future I can complete GCSE’s in art and follow my dream career. I know that if I can do this, then every person reading this can. So, walk down the road of your hopes, and follow the life you always wanted to lead. Be like Goldilocks and hold up your three dreams.
