Why did you pick this picture?
Because of its personal significance it holds to me as a family tree it represents the branches of my family line, it’s ups its downs its darkness. It is also one of my only art works I have chosen to add colour, that is what I most enjoy looking at on this piece.
Where did the idea for this art come from?
The idea had been in my mind for years as many dysfunctional families go mine is one of the complicated ones.
What does this art mean to you?
It shows a glimpse of what I feel in my mind and heart for my family, I was born wealthy but I was raised poorley around many who starved in the streets, from childhood I would recall many nights the whole family of every single member stayed under one roof happy in the night of christmas. Looking to today my family are all selfish and through greed everyone split off and many turned against each other include towards me.
What can you tell us about yourself?
I am the grandson of the deputy prime minister of Cambodia and don’t think I am wealthy because I’m related to him truth is I am barley living, I was abandoned by my dad at age 9 where I had to mature quick to be the man of the family. Art was always apart of me as long as I could remember I loved drawing among the other family I have that are talented with the gift of drawing.
What more can you tell us about your art?
Using just fine liners I have discovered my true talents only at the end of 2015 where I gained 10k followers quickly and I am very thankful to them for as they made me realize that this was only the beging of my art.
