Homeland woods – Majukooo

Why did you pick this picture?
I picked this because it’s a birthday gift for my grandpa and the place where this is inspired from means a lot to him, he’s an owl figurine collector as well and I thought it would be a great gift.
What does this art mean to you?
This means a lot to me because I made it for a very special person and put a lot of thought and time into this artwork.

What can you tell us about yourself?

I was born in Poland but moved to the UK when I was 6 and still live here. I remember when I was very young and painted with cheap watercolors and brushes at my granny’s apartment and then when I was 8 I got into drawing manga artwork, I started taking art seriously about 2 years ago and it’s been working out really well for me even though I still have a long way to go, but I’m still very proud of myself for never giving up.

What more can you tell us about your art?

This is not something I would paint on an everyday basis, this is something really out of my comfort zone but my art is mostly drawn with graphite and has a very mysterious vibe to it, as well as lots of meaning behind it that is really important to me. I put a lot of detail and life experiences into my art and people really enjoy it.
