We’re jammin – bradbayley

Why did you pick this picture?
I chose this picture for the simple fact that this shows best, what I enjoy doing the most. I do things on canvas but you can’t walk around wearing a canvas.

Where did the idea come from?

I shopped around everywhere for matching baby grows and adult t-shirts. There was nothing that I thought was that great, so I began to make them myself. I started getting quite abit of attention whilst out an about so carried on creating.

Why does this picture mean so much to you?

It means so much as it is my whole world in one shot. My present and my future. We are having a laugh and sharing art. I believe getting my son involved from a young age can only benefit him when he’s older.

Tell us a little something about yourself.

I’m a 26 year old dad who works away from home in the building trade and have done since leaving school. I love music and extreme sports. I’ve always done bits of art in my spare time and just lately a hell of a lot more. By putting my art on t-shirts instead of canvases I hope to make my art more accessible to people and again more fun who doesn’t want to wear hand painted matching tops with their kids.

What more can you tell us about your art.

My artistic streak doesn’t always come to easily, I can go months not feeling creative then all of a sudden an idea springs to mind and I just go with it. I find this way I don’t just stick to one style and I try out a lot of different things. I enjoy to work with wax crayons also working with metal is really quite satisfying.
